My counselling & coaching approach is strength-based and trauma-informed. My clients say that I am easy-going and very easy to talk with. I am here to help assess your present challenges, and explore coping tools that can support you to manage and reach your goals. My training as a life coach incorporates neurolinguistic programming, and crisis intervention counselling. I also borrow from my own life lessons and experiences which brought me up to be patient, but firm with my clients.

Outside of Life Coaching and Counselling, I work full time in Child Protection. When I am not working, I enjoy going to the gym, movies, spending time with my dog, friends, family, travelling, hiking and staying physically active.

My therapy approach and style are simple and down-to-earth. You show up and we talk together about which services may be right for you, in a secure, non-judgemental and compassionate environment. I’m a Registered Social Worker practicing in Manitoba (in-person and online), Saskatchewan, Ontario, and British Columbia. My training is in mindfulness-based cognitive therapy (MBCT), with a focus on anxiety and trauma.

My approach to therapy is largely as a result of diverse life experiences. It is these life experiences that have influenced me to finding ways of helping people, using methods I have learned from my own personal journey to robust mental health. I believe a therapeutic process needs to be evidenced-based (proven to be helpful) and professional.

When I’m not working, I enjoy reading books, painting, spending time with my husband and dogs, family, travelling, and being outdoors fishing or hiking.
